Two Electrocuted as 11KV Power Line Falls On Them In Kalahandi Dist

Bhawanipatna:  Two persons died and another was seriously injured when an 11 KV power line suddenly snapped and fell on them near Danikapel village in Lanjigarh block of Odisha’s Kalahandi district on Sunday evening.

The deceased were identified Kanga Majhi and Tingu Majhi. Their friend Dunge Majhi was seriously injured. He is admitted to a hospital in Bhawanipatna.

According to reports, the three friends faced the mishap while they were together on Sunday evening. All of a sudden, the overhead 11 KV power line passing between Sulim village and Danikapel snapped and fell on them. Locals rescued the trip and rushed them to the Biswanathpur Community Health Centre (CHC) where the doctors declared Kanga and Tingu dead.
