Wild Elephant Kills Woman in Khordha’s Banapur  

Bhubaneswar: A woman died in a wild elephant attack in the Banapur police station area of Odisha’s  Khordha district on Monday morning.

The victim was identified as Ranjana Pradhan (35), of Pundav panchayat under the Banapur police station.

According to reports, a wild elephant strayed into the Pundav area. The wild pachyderm trampled Ranjana while she was attending to nature’s call.

Seriously injured Ranjana was immediately rushed to the Banapur Hospital, where doctors declared her brought dead.
