FIR Against 2007 Cricket WC Star Joginder Sharma in Suicide Case

Chandigarh: Former India cricketer Joginder Sharma who played in the 2007 World Cup has been named in the FIR filed by Haryana police in the suicide case of person of Hisar. Joginder is posted as a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of Haryana police.

Joginder Sharma and five others have been named in the FIR.

This case is related to the suicide by Pawan, a resident of Hisar, who hanged himself on January 1 over a property dispute. His mother, Sunita, registered a complaint with the police alleging that the suicide of her son was related to the case she is fighting against Ajayveer, Ishwar Prem, Rajendra Sihag, and others for her house.

She accused the six men, including Joginder Sharma of harassing her son, because of which he ended his life.
