Odisha CHSE +2 Practical Exams From January 2nd, CCTV Mandatory in All Centres

The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) +2 practical exams in Odisha are set to commence on January 2, according to reports. The CHSE will dispatch exam-related materials to centers starting December 26, reaching all higher secondary schools by December 31.

The practical exams will span two hours, contributing 15 marks, while the theory exams, with durations of three hours, will cover subjects with marks ranging from 60 to 20. Notably, CCTV installations are now mandatory in all examination centres.

Scheduled from January 2 to 12, the examinations will encompass various subjects across science, commerce and arts streams. The science department will conduct practical tests in Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Electronics, Computer Science, Bio-Technology, Statistics, Geography, Geology, and IT.

Meanwhile, the arts department will oversee practical tests in Education, IT, Psychology, Anthropology, Indian Music, Home Science, Statistics, and Geography. The commerce department will focus on IT and Computer Science. Anticipated to follow, the second theory test is expected to commence on February 16.
