Sakshi Dhoni and Anushka Sharma Were Schoolmates in Assam!

Sakshi Dhoni, the wife of Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma were once classmates at St Mary’s School in Margherita, Assam. The revelation came to light when their old photos surfaced on social media, showing them posing with their classmates and having a great time with friends.

Anushka discussed their reunion at a promotional event in 2013, recalling their time in the small town of Assam and the school they both attended. They were part of the same friend circle during their teenage years.

While Anushka pursued a career in modelling and later entered Bollywood, Sakshi studied hotel management. Sakshi married Mahendra Singh Dhoni in July 2010, while Anushka tied the knot with Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli in December 2017.

Sakshi Dhoni, born Sakshi Singh Rawat on November 19, 1988, in Lekhapani town, Tinsukia district, Assam, grew up in Dehradun. She attended Welham Girl’s School and later completed her schooling at Jawahar Vidya Mandir in Ranchi.

Both their husbands have led the Indian Cricket Team to great success.

Anushka Sharma will be starring in the biopic of Indian woman cricketer Jhulan Goswami titled “Chakda Xpress,” marking her return to full-fledged acting after a four-year gap since her last release, “Zero,” alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif.
