WATCH | PTI Leader Fawad Chaudhry Sprints From Arrest, Seeks Shelter Back in Court

Islamabad: Fawad Chaudhry, a leader of Imran Khan’s party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), quickly ran back inside the Islamabad High Court premises moments after his release.

Chaudhry had been arrested along with other PTI party leaders for allegedly inciting arson and violent protests following Imran Khan’s arrest.

After the court ordered his release, Chaudhry sat inside his SUV but returned inside upon seeing police officers.

The PTI shared a video on Twitter showing Chaudhry being escorted by lawyers inside the high court, claiming he was being abducted despite being granted bail.

Imran Khan’s arrest triggered widespread unrest in Pakistan, leading to protests, casualties, and damage to military and state installations.

Khan alleges that his removal from power was part of a conspiracy orchestrated by the United States.
