Watch: Huge Boulders Crush Trucks in Peru During a Landslide

A dashcam captured the horrifying video of two vehicles getting crushed by a landslide of huge boulders falling from a Peruvian mountainside on Saturday.

The shocking video clip showed huge rocks falling on a truck and flipping it on its side on a road in the San Mateo district of Huanchor.

Some more small rocks fell from the mountainside and a giant boulder crashed into the road, in front of a second vehicle, creating a massive crater.

Luckily drivers of both the commercial trucks survived. But their cargo was crushed by the boulders and the Central Highway was destroyed at the spot.

Later on the video showed stones of various sizes littered on the road, as well as the wreckage of the two vehicles. It took four hours to clear the road.

An investigation is on find the exact cause of the accident. It is suspected that rains in the region could have led to the landslide.
