Watch: Lightning Kills Footballer During Match in Indonesia

A footballer was killed when he was hit by lightning on the field during a friendly match in Indonesia. The video clip of the lightning strike during the football match is viral on social media.

In the viral video clip, a 35-year-old footballer named Septain Raharja was struck by lightning. The footballer collapsed immediately after getting stuck by the lightning.

According to standard.co.uk, Septain Raharja was playing a friendly match between 2 FLO FC Bandung and FBI Subang, when lightning struck him at around 4:20 pm local time on Saturday.

Although seriously injured, the footballer was breathing after being hit by the lightning. But he died soon afterwards, according to Indonesia’s PRFM News.
