Asia’s largest Tulip Garden in Srinagar Getting Ready for Tourists

Srinagar: Preparations are in full swing to prepare Asia’s largest tulip garden in Srinagar to welcome the tourists in March 2024. By that time the flowers in this vast tulip garden will be will be in full bloom.

Around 1.7 million tulip plants will be grown in this huge tulip garden on the banks of the tulip lake. Now gardeners are busy planting the tulip bulbs in the picturesque tulip garden sprawled over an area of 30 hectares.

Around 68 varieties of tulips are grown in this garden. It has become a major attraction of Kashmir and Srinagar. In 2023, more than 3.65 lakh people visited this tulip garden.

This large tulip garden is at the foothills of the Zabarwan on the banks of the Dal Lake. Recently this tulip garden got mentioned in the World Book of Records (London).
