Nuh Clashes: Haryana CM Raises Suspicions of Preplanned Violence; Curfew Enforced

Chandigarh: Haryana Chief Minister, Manohar Lal Khattar, expressed his concern over the violent clashes that erupted between two groups in Nuh. He called the incident “unfortunate” and suspected a “big conspiracy” behind the violence. The clashes resulted in five deaths, including two home guards who were shot dead during the confrontation.

In response to the situation, a curfew has been imposed in the Nuh area, and heavy police deployment has been implemented in Nuh district and nearby regions. Section 144 has been imposed in some places as well. A total of 44 FIRs have been registered, and 70 individuals have been taken into custody, with strict actions promised against them.

Haryana Home Minister, Anil Vij, assured that the situation was under control, and measures were taken to maintain law and order. Internet services have been suspended in Nuh district till August 2, and police contingents have been deployed in the adjoining districts of Faridabad, Palwal, and Gurugram.

Authorities have closed all educational institutions in Gurugram as a precautionary measure. The deceased home guards were identified as Neeraj and Gursevak, deployed at Khedali Daula police station.

The police personnel injured in the clashes are receiving treatment at Gurugram’s Medanta Hospital.

The appeal for peace has been made to the locals, and the government promises to provide assistance to the victims of the violence.
