Kashmir Files Director Apologises Before Delhi High Court

New Delhi: The Delhi High Court has received an unconditional apology from filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri for his remarks made in 2018 that a judge acted unfairly while giving relief to activist Gautam Navlakha in the Bhima Koregaon violence case.

After hearing about the comments made against Justice S Muralidhar, who is currently the Chief Justice of the Orissa High Court, the court began contempt proceedings against Vivek Agnihotri, author Anand Ranganathan, and news outlet Swarajya.

The director, who is best known for his work on “The Kashmir Files,” submitted an apologetic affidavit today through his attorney and claimed to have removed the offending tweet.
