2 Militants Trapped as Security Forces Counter Terrorist Threat in J&K’s Kulgam

Kulgam (J&K): On Thursday, security forces engaged in a fierce encounter with terrorists in the Samnoo Nehama area of Kulgam, Jammu and Kashmir. According to reports, two terrorists have been cornered in the area.

The Kashmir Zone Police confirmed that the encounter began in the Damhal Hanji Pora region of Kulgam.

This incident comes on the heels of another encounter in October, where two terrorists associated with Hizbul Mujahideen were eliminated by security forces in Kulgam.

Coincidentally, around the same time, two Army personnel were injured in an exchange of fire with terrorists in Rajouri district. Following this incident, an extensive cordon and search operation was launched in the area to locate the terrorists.
