MS Dhoni Receives Invitation For Ayodhya Ram Temple ‘Pran Pratishtha’ Ceremony

Ranchi: Renowned figures from Jharkhand, including former Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, archer Deepika Kumari, and folk singer Mukund Nayak, have received invitations to the consecration ceremony of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on January 22. The invitation was presented to MS Dhoni at his Ranchi residence by senior RSS functionary Dhananjay Singh, accompanied by BJP organising secretary Karmaveer Singh.

Dhananjay Singh, speaking to PTI, stated, “We handed over the invitation card to him (Dhoni) on behalf of the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust for the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22.” Singh mentioned that 16 distinguished personalities from Jharkhand, including senior BJP leader Karia Munda, folk singer Mukund Nayak, and archer Deepika Kumari, have been invited, along with 69 individuals from the sage fraternity.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to attend the ceremony, where the idol of Ram Lalla will be installed. Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) national spokesperson Vinod Bansal had earlier indicated that around 7,000 attendees, including approximately 100 representatives from abroad, are expected at the event during his Jharkhand visit on January 10.
