South Korean Woman Travels to India to Marry Indian Boyfriend

Lucknow: Kim Boh-Nee, a South Korean woman, travelled thousands of miles to unite with her partner, Sukhjit Singh, in Uttar Pradesh, India. The couple met four years ago at a coffee shop in Busan, South Korea, where Singh was employed.

Their love blossomed as they conversed in Korean. After Singh returned to India for a temporary period, Kim made the bold decision to join him, leaving behind her life in South Korea.

The couple embraced Sikh traditions in a local gurdwara and solemnized their marriage. Kim’s enthusiasm for Indian culture, particularly Punjabi music, added to the beauty of their union.

Currently residing in a farmhouse with Singh’s family, Kim is on a three-month visa to India. The couple plans to return to South Korea in the future.

This is just one of many stories of cross-continental love. Another example is the story of Seema Haidar, a Pakistani woman who married her online game companion, Sachin Meena. The couple overcame legal hurdles and now resides in India.
