WATCH | Woman Jumps Off Moving Rapido Bike As Driver Tries To Grope Her

Bengaluru: A Bengaluru lady in her 30s claims that a Rapido bike rider harassed her sexually, forcing her to jump off the moving vehicle. The woman claims that the incident occurred in Yelahanka and that the Andhra Pradesh-born driver touched her inappropriately, groped her, and harassed her sexually.

She claimed that she was forced to jump off the bike because the driver wouldn’t stop touching her. An official report has been filed at the Yelahanka Newtown police station, which happened on April 21.

The accused, identified as Deepak has been taken into custody.

She reportedly booked a bike for Indiranagar, and the driver allegedly took her phone under the pretence of checking her OTP before beginning to drive in the wrong direction. He refused to answer the victim’s repeated questions about why he was going in the wrong way.

Consequently, the victim had to jump off the moving bike, and the rider took off. The victim is seen on the CCTV clip getting off the bike to protect herself from the molester.
