2 Burnt Alive, 5 Injured as Hotel catches Fire in Kashmir

Srinagar: Two persons were charred to death and five others were seriously injured when a hotel caught fire in Jammu and Kashmir’s Ramban district on Thursday morning.

This fire accident occurred in Hotel Maa Shanti in Sanasar tourist resort and the fire spread fast to adjoining area. Firefighters rushed to the spot. With the help of locals and police, efforts were made to douse the blaze. The injured rescued from the fire were admitted to a hospital. A magisterial inquiry headed by ADC Ramban has been ordered.
