Deepika Padukone is Lady Singham

Bollywood star Deepika Padukone will don the police uniform in the next Singham movie of Rohit Shetty. The third movie in the Singham series is named ‘Singham Again’. Rohit Shetty on Thursday confirmed Deepika’s Lady Singham avatar in this upcoming movie.

Shetty and Deepika worked together in Chennai Express of 2019. She will make a special appearance in a song picturised for Rohit Shetty’s comedy movie Cirkus.

Speaking to newsmen about the entry of Deepika in Singham Part 3, Rohit Shetty said, “Everybody keeps asking me when I’ll introduce Lady Singham. So, here it is. Deepika Padukone will be the Lady Singham in Singham Again. She is my lady bomb from the cop universe, and we’re going to start working together on it next year,” the filmmaker told reporters in Mumbai.

Singham Again is the third film in the Singham series with Ajay Devgan in the lead. This film will also have Ranveer Singh, as super cop Simmba. Deepika Padukone has already acted with Singh in RamLeela, Bajirao Mastani, and Padmaavat.
