Kurukshetra Woman Sheltered Fugitive Khalistani Amritpal; Arrested & Handed over to Punjab Police

New Delhi: A 28-year-old woman is alleged to have provided shelter to the fugitive Khalistan preacher Amritpal Singh and his associate Pappalpreet Singh at her house in Shahabad on Sunday night. She is an MBA but is unemployed. This woman was taken into custody by Kurukshetra police and later was handed over to Punjab Police for interrogation.

This woman identified as Baljeet Kaur lives with her brother and father at Sidharth Colony of Shahabad in Kurukshetra. Her brother is a government employee at the SDM office in Kurukshetra while her father runs a milk business.

It is suspected that Amritpal and Pappalpreet stayed at her house on Sunday night and left on Monday afternoon. The duo reached her house on a white Scooty.

According to Kurukshetra police, Baljeet Kaur was in touch with Pappalpreet. He used to visit her in the past.
