Wife of Fugitive Khalistani Leader Amripal Singh Stopped from Escaping to London

Amritsar: Punjab police on Thursday managed to stop ‘Waris Punjab De’ chief Amritpal Singh’s wife Kirandeep Kaur from escaping to London. She was stopped from boarding a flight to London by the Punjab police at the Shri Guru Ram Dass International Airport, Amritsar.

Punjab police launched a major crackdown in March against Amritpal Singh and the members of his “Waris Punjab De” outfit. But Amritpal managed to escape from the police net in Jalandhar district on March 18. Till now he has managed to dodge the police by switching vehicles and changing appearances. Several of his key associates have been arrested.
