One Held With Huge Cache Of Fake Foreign Liquor In Sambalpur

Sambalpur: A huge quantity of duplicate foreign liquor was also seized by the Sambalpur Excise Department in the Ranibandha area in the district on Friday.

Acting on a tip-off, a special team of Excise officials conducted a raid at some factories in the Ranibandha area. During the raid, several bottles of duplicate foreign liquor, tools and other articles used in packaging were also seized from the spot.

However, the accused feigned his ignorance about the manufacturing of fake foreign liquor.

Further investigation is underway in this regard.
