PM Modi Praises Pathaan in Parliament

SRK’s Pathaan is running in packed theatres even in Kashmir’s Srinagar. Impressed by it, PM Narendra Modi showered praises on Pathaan in his recent speech in the Parliament.

The PM raved on about how theatres in Srinagar are running houseful. This adds to the feathers in the cap of Pathaan that is on a record-breaking spree at the box office. It has already earned over 700 crore rupees globally.

Before the release of the movie on January 25, the PM had asked BJP workers to refrain from making unnecessary comments about Bollywood celebrities and films. This came after some BJP leaders and Sangh Parivar activists gave calls to boycott Pathaan.

Pathaan is the fourth installment in the Yash Raj Films (YRF) Spy Universe. Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham have come together for the first time in Pathaan, written and directed by Siddharth Anand.
