41 govt holidays in 2023 calendar

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government on Tuesday announced the list of holidays for the year 2023.

The list has been declared by the Revenue and Disaster Management department.

On these holidays, all the government offices as well as revenue and magisterial courts (executive) will remain closed on the festival/ commemorative occasion (Annexure-I) during the calendar year 2023, the government release said.

The State employees will be allowed to avail of one holiday at their option on any one of the festive occasion days as listed in annexure-II. Written permission will be obtained from the authority, it added.
