Additional Commissioner of GST in Vigilance trap

Bhubaneswar (Odisha Bhaskar): The number of corrupt officials in the state is increasing. Meanwhile, Cuttack City and Additional Commissioner of GST are in the vigilance trap. Additional Commissioner Piyushkant Pani’s house and office have been boarded. Houses in Jajpur, Cuttack and Bhubaneswar were raided simultaneously. He is being accused of embezzlement.

Similarly, a sports teacher was recently caught in the vigilance trap. A vigilance raid was conducted at the house of Janardan Sahu of Jayanti High School in Berhampur Block. The arrest was made on charges of misappropriation of assets. A house, a school and a petrol pump and a gas warehouse of Janardan in Berhampur were raided.
