Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra to Enter Odisha Tomorrow

Bhubaneswar: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is set to kick off his Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Odisha, commencing from the Jharkhand-Odisha border at Basjol on the evening of February 6. The flag handover ceremony will mark the beginning of the campaign, with Gandhi staying overnight at the party’s camp in Rampal, Panposh.

On February 7, the Padyatra will start at 9.30 am from Udit Nagar near the SP Office in Rourkela, heading towards Panposh Chowk. A public meeting is scheduled for 10 am, with a lunch break at Birsa Munda Ground in Ranibandh. The Yatra will resume at 2 pm, featuring public meetings at Kutra and Bargaon, and continuing at 4.30 pm from Bus Stand Chowk to SBI Chowk via Stadium Chowk in Sundergarh district. Gandhi will halt at Amlipali Ground, Jharsuguda, for the night.

On February 8, the Padyatra will recommence at 8 am from the Old Bus Stand at Mahatma Gandhi Chowk in Jharsuguda, heading to Beheramal Kisan Chowk in Jharsuguda town. A public address will follow. A break is scheduled at 12 noon at Madhuban Dhaba in Govindpur, with lunch at Kureimal. The Padyatra resumes at 2 pm from Konaktora in Jharsuguda district, reaching Rengalpali in Raigarh on the Odisha-Chhattisgarh border for the Flag Handover ceremony.
