Bhubaneswar: Miscreant Attacks Petrol Pump Employee With Axe; Nabbed

Bhubaneswar: Panic gripped Kalpana square in Bhubaneswar as a miscreant attacked an employee of the filling station on Monday evening.

According to sources, the accused came to the filling station and asked the petrol pump employee for petrol of Rs 110. But due to miscommunication, the pump employee poured petrol of Rs 200.

Following this, the accused man started a verbal altercation with him and other staff of the pump.

Suddenly, the accused person brandished an axe and terrorized the people on the spot.

When the employees of the filling station tried to stop him, he chased and attacked one of them with a sharp weapon.

The employee was seriously injured in the attack and was rushed to the hospital for treatment.

When the accused tried to flee the spot, some locals overpowered him and handed him over to the Police.
