Cop Found Hanging in Govt Residence in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: A police personnel was found hanging in his government residence at Rental Colony in Bhubaneswar on Friday.

The deceased has been identified as Krushna Chandra Senapati. He was a Grade-4 Employee of the SSB Battalion.

According to sources, Senapati lived with his wife. After returning from duty, he had a fight over some matter. The next morning he was found hanging from the ceiling fan with a cloth.

He was rescued and rushed to the hospital where he was declared dead.

The reason behind Senapati’s alleged suicide is not known, as some suspect it to be a family dispute. Police are investigating the incident.
