India Post GDS Recruitment 2023: 40,889 Posts Up For Grabs; Apply Online

New Delhi: An official notification for the recruitment of Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS), Branch Postmasters (BPM), and Assistant Branch Postmasters (ABPM/Dak Sevak) has been released by India Post.

Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria may submit an online application at indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.

The deadline to apply for the position is February 16. The application process began on January 27.

Educational Qualification

For being eligible to apply for the post, the candidate must have a Secondary School Examination pass certificate of 10th standard with passing marks in Mathematics and English (having been studied as compulsory or elective subjects) conducted by any recognised Board.

Age Limit

The age of the candidate must be between 18 years to 40 years.

Age Relaxation

• Schedule Caste/Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST): 5 years
• Other Backward Classes (OBC): 3 years
• Economically Weaker Sections (EWS): No relaxation
• Persons with Disabilities (PwD): 10 years
• Persons with Disabilities (PwD) + OBC: 13 years
• Persons with Disabilities (PwD) + SC/ST: 15 years

Pay Scale

• BPM: Rs 12,000 – Rs 29,380
• ABPM/Dak Sevak: Rs 10,000 – Rs 24,470
