Odisha To Feel Winter Chill In Next Few Days: IMD

Bhubaneswar: The minimum temperature in Odisha is likely to drop by 2-3 degree Celsius in several districts in the next 2-3 days.

India Meteorological Department’s (IMD) Regional Centre in Bhubaneswar on Wednesday informed that the State is likely to witness colder days from November 12.

The IMD attributed the drop in temperature to change in the weather.

In the last 24 hours, the Capital city Bhubaneswar recorded 31.6 degrees Celsius day temperature and 21.9°C minimum temperature while Cuttack reported 30.5°C and 21.2°C day and night temperatures respectively.

Dense fog has occurred at one or two places over the districts of Kandhamal of South Interior Odisha.

Shallow to moderate fog has occurred at one or two places over the districts of Angul, Bolangir, Gajapati, & Kalahandi of Odisha, said IMD.
