Prez Visits Her School, Pens Emotional Note About Her Childhood Memories

Bhubaneswar: Today is the last day of President Draupadi Murmu’s visit to Odisha. She visited two schools today. She first visited Khandagiri’s Tapoban High School. Later, she reached her own school, Unit-2 Girls High School. Students of both schools were too excited to see the President near them.

While studying in Unit-2 Girls High School, President Draupadi Murmu used to stay in the Kuntala Kumari tribal hostel. Today she went to that hostel and visited the room in which she used to reside, reliving her school memories.

“I got emotional talking to the children living in the hostel, teachers, and the students of the school. I am very happy to see that the students are getting a safe and clean environment to study and live here. I wish the students a bright future,” President Draupadi Murmu remarked in the students’ residence register.
