President to Visit Schools on 2nd Day of Her Odisha Visit

Bhubaneswar: Today is President Droupadi Murmu’s second day in Odisha. She will visit various schools and meet students and teachers on the last day of her visit.

The President is scheduled to visit the Kuntala Kumari tribal hostel as well as 2 other schools. She will first reach Tapoban High School in Khandagiri.

Then the President will visit the Unit-II Girls High School, where she had studied during her young days. She was a student at this school from 1970 to 1974. While studying, he was staying in Kuntala Kumari tribal hostel. President Draupadi Murmu will visit the hostel for the first time after becoming the President of the country. She will surely reminisce about her old school day memories.

Later, at 11:40 PM, the President will participate in a special program organized by the Ministry of Education at Jaydev Bhavan and launch various initiatives. Union Minister for Education, Skill Development, and Entrepreneurship Dharmendra Pradhan will be present in this program. The President will launch several initiatives, including engineering books prepared by the All India Council of Technical Education in Odia. The President will inaugurate the curriculum portal ‘e-Kumbh’ in multiple Indian languages. She will also launch a dictionary of technical words for Odia language users. This dictionary has been prepared by the CSST.

Apart from Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Governor Professor Ganesh Lal, and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will also attend this event.
