Drunk Official Found Sleeping in Office

Mayurbhanj: A senior assistant was found sleeping in office in a drunk state at Karanjia ARCS office of Mayurbhanj district yesterday afternoon.

The erring officer is identified as Pradeep Kumar Hembram. He was found sleeping in his chair in an intoxicated state.

Pradeep Hembram did not wake up even after repeated calls. A farmer who visited the office for some official tried to wake him up by lifting him but failed.

Receiving information about it media representatives reached the spot. They tried to get the inebriated official to senses to get his reaction. But the official was not in a condition to respond. Coming to know about it, seniors of the office have initiated an inquiry against Pradeep Hembram’s misbehaviour while on duty.
