Badminton Asia Championship: PV Sindhu & Kidambi Srikanth Advance To 2nd Round

Dubai: Premier Indian shuttler PV Sindhu advanced to the second round in the women’s singles event at the Dubai Badminton Asia Championship defeating Taiwan’s Wen Chi Hsu of Taiwan in the opening round by 21-15, 22-20.

Meanwhile, Kidambi Srikanth has also advanced to the second round in the men’s section. He defeated Adnan Ibrahim 21-13, 21-8 in the opening round.

In other matches, Malvika Bansod was defeated by Akane Yamaguchi of Japan while Aakarshi Kashyap was defeated by Komang Ayu Cahya Dewi of Indonesia.
