Women’s Asia Cup: Bowlers Power India Women To Comprehensive Win

Sylhet: Sneh Rana’s three-wicket haul helped India women beat Thailand by nine wickets in the 19th match of the 2022 Women’s Asia Cup at Sylhet today.

Opting to field first, India bowled Thailand out for 37 runs in 15.1 overs.

Rana came up with a superb spell of 4-0-9-3. Deepti Sharma (2/10) and Rajeshwari Gayakwad (2/8) struck at regular intervals to break the back of Thailand’s batting unit.

India chased down the target in six overs.

Sabbhineni Meghana scored an unbeaten 20(18) as India romped home with 14 overs to spare.

Nattaya Boochatham picked up the only wicket of the innings.
