14 Lives Lost by Lightning Strikes in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Art least 14 people died and over 10 were seriously injured by lightning strikes in different parts of Odisha during past 24 hours.

According to reports, five persons died and six others were gravely injured in Basta and Oupada blocks of Balasore district when lightning struck them.

Lightning killed three men and injured three others in Chandbali of Bhadrak district.

In the Mayurbhanj district, three people reportedly died and one was seriously injured in lightning strike.

A youth also lost his life because of a lightning strike in the Dasarathpur Police station area of the Jajpur district.
