Couple Ate 7-Yr-Old Girl’s Liver, Sentenced to Life Imprisonment

Lucknow: A couple and two others were sentenced to life imprisonment for killing a seven-year-old girl and eating her liver and other vital organs on November 14, 2020, in Kanpur’s Ghatampur. The convicts resorted to this gruesome act at the behest of a self-proclaimed tantrik.

Additional District Judge (POCSO Act) Baquar Shamim Rizvi sentenced the accused couple Parshuram and Sunaina, their nephew Ankul and his associate Viren, to life imprisonment. The sentence was made public by the court on Saturday.

The disfigured body of the seven-year-old victim was discovered in a field outside Ghatampur on November 15, 2020.

Police investigation revealed that Parshuram and Sunaina, who were not having any children even after 19 years of marital life had consulted a self-proclaimed tantric, who instructed them to eat a young girl’s liver.

The seven-year-old victim was abducted and raped by Ankul and Viren, who later killed her. They took out the liver of the girl and handed it over to Sunaina and Parshuram, who ate it.
