Head-On Collision of 2 Bikes Claims Two Lives in Kalahandi

Bhawanipatna: Two persons died and two others were seriously injured when their speeding bikes had a head-on collision in Odisha’s Kalahandi district on Sunday.

As per reports, the accident took place on the Khapramal-Behera road under Koksara police limits. Two persons coming from Khapramal crashed with the other bike coming from the opposite direction.

The four persons were seriously injured and were transported to the hospital at Parla by the locals. The doctors declared two of them dead. The deceased were identified as Jitendra Durga of Musapali village and Pabitra of Dahagaon village in the district.

The other two injured persons were shifted to a government hospital in Dharmagarh. They are Gupteswar Bagh and Jitendra Sagar from Nuagaon village.

A team from Koksara police station seized the bodies and sent them for post-mortem.
