Most Wanted Gangster Involved in RSS Leader’s Murder Arrested in South Africa

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) tracked down and arrested a most wanted gangster, Mohammed Gaus Niyazi, in South Africa. Niyazi had a reward of 5 lakh rupees on his head.

Niyazi was a prominent leader of the Popular Front of India (PFI). He is a prime accused in the murder of RSS leader Rudresh in Bengaluru in 2016.

After committing the murder, Niyazi managed to escape arrest by residing in various countries.

The Gujarat Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) tracked Niyazi’s movements and shared the crucial information with the NIA. South African authorities were then alerted, leading to the arrest of the fugitive.

After being detained in South Africa, Niyazi is being brought back to India.
