New COVID Positive Case Detected, Active Cases Rise to 3 in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: A new Covid positive patient was detected in Odisha during the past 24 hours. With it, the total number of active COVID cases in Odisha rose to three.

All these three cases were detected within the last seven days. According to the Central Health Ministry, 628 new COVID positive cases were detected in the last 24 hours in India. The total number of active COVID cases has crossed 4000 in the Country.

One person has reportedly died of Coronavirus in Kerala on Monday.

The Odisha government has issued an advisory, requesting elderly people and those with co-morbidities to use facemasks while going out in view of the emergence of JN.1 variant of COVID-19.

In its post on X, the state Health Department advised elderly people and those with co-morbidities to refrain from visiting crowded places.
