Sex-Racket Running on School Campus Busted in Balangir, Watchman Arrested, Woman Rescued

Balangir: An alleged sex racket running at a school in the Jogimunda area of Odisha’s Balangir district was busted by the personnel of the Patnagarh police station on Wednesday night.

The night watchman of the school, Tikiram Majhi was arrested by police. A woman allegedly involved in the flesh trade was rescued from the place by the raiding policemen.

Acting on a tip-off regarding immoral trafficking, the police raided the school. The arrested accused was produced before a local court and remanded to judicial custody.

According to police sources, another accused managed to escape from the spot taking advantage of the darkness. An investigation is underway to ascertain the identity of others involved in this sex racket.
