Transfer Of Dhenkanal Collector, SPs Of Deogarh, Cuttack Rural Ordered by Election Commission

Bhubaneswar: Ahead of the Lok Sabha and Assembly Elections in Odisha, the Election Commission of India (ECI) on Thursday issued transfer orders for a collector and two SPs of Odisha.

The ECI ordered for transfer of Dhenkanal Collector Manoranjan Mallick, Deogarh SP Ram Prasad Sahu and Cuttack Rural SP Mihir Kumar Panda.

The decision was taken after the commission convened a meeting chaired by Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar along with Election Commissioners Gyanesh Kumar and Sukhbir Singh Sandhu.

The ECI directed the Odisha Government to immediately transfer these officers from their current posts and submit a compliance report to the commission.
