Vigilance Raids Bhubaneswar Chief Civil Supplies Officer’s Premises

Bhubaneswar: Officials of the Odisha Vigilance Department raided several places linked to the Chief Civil Supplies Officer of Bhubaneswar, Prashanta Kumar Gantayat on Thursday to unearth assets disproportionate to his known source of income.

Simultaneous search operations were taken up by Odisha vigilance teams led by eight DSPs, five Inspectors, and other staff in eight places in Bhubaneswar and Ganjam district.

Places raided:

*One single-storeyed building at Pandara in Bhubaneswar.

*One triple-storeyed building at Pandara in Bhubaneswar.

*An apartment located at village Bhabanipur in Berhampur-II of Neelachal Heights.

*One double-storeyed building (VIM-192) is located at Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar.

*An apartment at Neelachal City, Canal Road, Badagada, Laxmi Sagar, Bhubaneswar.

*Office chamber of Gantayat at the Food Supplies & Consumer Welfare Department of Odisha.

*His parental house at Co-operative Colony, 1st Lane, Berhampur, under Baidyanathpur police station in Ganjam.

*His residential government quarters at municipality colony Unit-III, Bhubaneswar
