Vigilance Raids Premises of Nayagarh Sub Registrar to Unearth Disproportionate Assets

Bhubaneswar: Simultaneous raids were conducted by the Odisha vigilance officials at premises linked to District Sub Registrar, Nayagarh, Saswat Kumar Pattanaik to unearth assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.

These simultaneous search operations were taken up by vigilance teams that included 8 DSPs, 6 inspectors and other staff on the strength of search warrants issued by the Special Judge,Vigilance, Bhubaneswar

Search operations continue at 6 places in Nayagarh and Kendrapada districts. The places where raids are being conducted include-

*Rented house at Debottara colony, lane-4, Nayagarh.

* House at Talabaranga, Kendrapada.

* His office at DSR, Nayagarh.

*Parental house at Talagaon Kendrapada.

* House of a relative at Pentha, Kendrapada.

*House of another relative at Dalanta, Kendrapada.

The search is in progress, said a release of the vigilance department.
