Youth Stabbed to Death by Grandfather in Nuapada

Nuapada: A youth was murdered by his maternal grandfather over a family dispute in Krishna village under Komna police station limits in Odisha’s Nuapada district on Friday.

The deceased identified as Dushmanth was killed by his grandfather Yadumani Hans.

According to reports, during an altercation over a continuing family dispute, Dushmanth abused his maternal grandmother on Friday morning. Irked by it, his grandfather Yadumani attacked Dushmanth with a sharp weapon. The victim was stabbed in the chest.

Seriously injured Dushmanth was rushed to the Komna Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Receiving information, Komna police rushed to the village and arrested Yadumani.
