SBI Market Cap Increases: 5 Lakh Crore Bank After HDFC, ICICI Bank

New Delhi: The country’s largest bank SBI has also performed well in the stock market. SBI beat market estimates in Wednesday’s trade and its value rose by around 2.50 percent to over 575 points on the BSE. With this, the market cap of the State Bank of India has now crossed 05 lakh crore. SBI has become the third bank in the country to achieve this level.

Now the market capitalization value of SBI is around 5.10 lakh crore on BSE. Earlier, HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank achieved a market cap of over Rs 05 lakh crore. Now the market cap of ICICI Bank is more than Rs 6.40 lakh crore. Similarly, the market cap of HDFC Bank is currently around 8.51 lakh crores. In terms of market cap, HDFC Bank is now the largest bank in the country.

Yesterday, SBI’s shares remained at an all-time high despite US market pressure on Asian markets. SBI shares rose 2.70 percent to Rs 574.65 during the trading session. This is the all-time high label for SBI stock.
