Prostitution Racket Busted in Balasore Dist, 5 Detained by Police

Balasore: A prostitution racket was busted because of some vigilant locals at Badambadi-Makhapada of Mardarajpur locality under Nilagiri police station limits in Balasore district.

Five persons including a woman managing the racket, two sex workers, and two youths were detained by the locals and were later handed over to the police.

According to a police source, this flesh trade racket was continuing in a house in the village. Sex workers from Bhubaneswar and Udala of Mayurbhanj district were being engaged.

The angry locals tied the two youths to a tree and beat them up ruthlessly, before handing them over to the police. One of them was from Balasore while the other was from Udala.

Personnel of the Nilagiri police station took the five accused rounded up by the villagers for interrogation. Police also seized three bikes and a car from the spot of the alleged flesh trade.
