COVID-19 virus leaked out of a Chinese Lab: US Energy Dept Report

A report by the Energy Department of America has clearly stated that the deadly Coronavirus was leaked out of a laboratory in China. According to the Wall Street Journal, this intelligence report was recently provided to the White House and key members of Congress.

Several agencies including the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) also agree with the lab leak claim. The US Energy department came to the conclusion of the Chinese lab leak theory related to the COVID pandemic in 2021 with “moderate confidence” and still holds to this view.

However, four other agencies, along with a national intelligence panel, still judge that it was likely the result of natural transmission, and two are undecided, the media report said.

The Covid-19 virus was first detected in Wuhan, China, in November 2019, according to the US 2021 intelligence report. Even after two years of the pandemic, the origins of Covid-19 remain unclear.

Several scientists and politicians around the world have alleged that coronavirus reached humans after being leaked from a laboratory in China. But China has opposed the virus lab leak theory and has claimed that it emerged outside China.
