15 Shops Gutted in Fire Accident in Basudevpur of Bhadrak Dist

Bhadrak: A major fire accident reduced as many as 15 shops to ashes at Rathapada Market under the Basudevpur block of Odisha’s Bhadrak district, late Wednesday night. Properties worth lakhs were gutted in this fire.

According to reports, it is suspected that a short circuit led to the fire at a shop in the market and later it spread to adjoining shops.

The fire spread so fast and its intensity was so severe that the shopkeepers were unable to take out their goods to safe places.

Fire Services personnel rushed to the spot and doused the blaze. An investigation is on to ascertain the reason behind the outbreak of fire.
