Major Fire At Garment Showroom In Kendrapara, Rs 50L Worth Valuables Gutted

Aul: Valuables worth lakhs of rupees were reduced to ashes after a massive fire broke out in a city-based garment showroom at Nua bazaar area of Kendrapada district.

According to reports, the matter came to the fore after locals spotted smoke billowing out of the window and immediately informed the fire department of Aul.

On being informed, police along with firefighters reached the spot and brought the flames under control after tireless efforts.

The fire was so fierce that the cloth items inside the shop were reduced to ashes. The loss is estimated to be around Rs. 50 lakh. Along with this, as many as 30 LED TVs from a nearby electrical shop which were stored in the dress shop were also burnt to ashes completely.

However, the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
