Woman Jumps into Well with 4 Children in MP; But Saves Herself & Eldest Daughter

Bhopal: A woman jumped into a well along with her four children in the Burhanpur district of Madhya Pradesh on Sunday. But after falling into the water this 30-year-old woman got panicked about the approaching death. She preferred to save her life by grabbing a rope hanging into the well. This woman named Pramila Bhilala managed to climb out to safety with her eldest daughter.

But her three children who were pushed into the well by her died. The deceased included her 18-month-old son, and two daughters aged three and five respectively.

The incident occurred in Baldi village of Burhanpur district. The woman took this extreme step after a quarrel with her husband.

The bodies of the three children were recovered from the well. Police said the condition of Pramila and her 7-year-old daughter is fine.
