Odisha Govt to Fill 7,540 Vacant Teaching Positions in Government High Schools

The Odisha government is in the final stages of filling 7,540 vacant teaching positions in government high schools. The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is currently verifying the certificates of candidates who have successfully passed written tests in 30 districts of the state.

The certificate verification process is nearing completion, with a focus on candidates with disabilities. District Education Officers (DEOs) have been instructed to address any errors and provide assistance to candidates with doubts. Additionally, a support centre has been set up at the Directorate of Secondary Education.

Once the certificate verification process is finished, the final list of selected teachers will be published.
